About Us

One Mission. Two Departments. Endless Impact.

With the support of citizens, the East Point Public Safety Foundation represents a groundbreaking collaboration between two of our city’s most essential departments—East Point Police and East Point Fire. United by a shared vision, we work together to:

  • Deliver joint fire prevention and crime awareness campaigns

  • Host community safety events and youth engagement programs

  • Raise funds for equipment upgrades, advanced training, wellness programs, and community policing

This unified approach not only builds trust but strengthens the entire East Point community.

Meet the Board

Michael St Croix

President, East Point Public Safety Foundation

Michael St Croix is a Minnesota native who has proudly called East Point home since 2019.  Michael stays active in the city by currently serving on the East Point Board of Ethics and as Vice President of his neighborhood association. His previous volunteer work with the East Point Main Street Association further reflects his commitment to community development.

A graduate of the Citizens Police Academy, Michael carries a strong respect for those who serve in public safety and is committed to community well-being.

Michelle Rosser

Secretary, East Point Public Safety Foundation

Michelle Rosser has been a proud resident of East Point, GA since 2018 and joined the East Point Public Safety Foundation to become more active in the community she calls home. Inspired by her experience in the Citizens Police Academy, Michelle was drawn to the Foundation’s mission of supporting the local fire and police departments and their efforts to enhance the lives of East Point residents. As Secretary, she is committed to advancing the Foundation’s work and giving back to the community through service and civic engagement.

Thomas Wardlow

Treasurer, East Point Public Safety Foundation

Thomas Wardlow is retired from two accomplished careers. His first was in vocational rehabilitation, where he served as a counselor, director of rehabilitation services, and executive director for nonprofit organizations. He later transitioned into information technology, working as a software engineer, project manager, and director of development.

Tom has lived in East Point with his wife for the past five years. He actively volunteers in both local and statewide programs, applying his professional experience to support community efforts. After completing the East Point Citizen’s Police Academy and regularly attending City Council meetings, he gained a deep appreciation for the complexities of public safety.

As a member of the East Point Public Safety Foundation, Tom is committed to strengthening public safety services—helping to support initiatives that go beyond what the city budget can provide.
